Yin Yoga is a slow and calming practice.
It incorporates mindfulness with long deep holds in mostly floor based postures in order to increase mobility by accessing the connective tissue and fascia of the body and freeing up internal blockages.
Yin Yoga can be both deeply relaxing, as well as challenging and it offers the perfect balance to some of the more 'yang' based physical exercises. If you have a 'monkey mind' that just won't stop chattering - this is for you!
Yin yoga is suitable for all levels, beginners through to advanced yoga practitioners and are suitable for everyone, especially those dealing with chronic illness or pain.
