Return to Run classes will be running from Huxtable Park Chermside West. Work with our Exercise Physiologists from 16 weeks postpartum onwards to safely progress back to running & higher intensity work. All welcome. We will work with you every step of the way, with pelvic stability and strength all the way back to running drills & 5km runs!
Prior to entry to classes, you must attend a prescreening appointment with our Exercise Physiologists. At this appointment we will take any relevant medical history, biomechanics, diastasis recti & pelvic floor co-activation, assess posture & any aches, pains or injuries & work with you one on one with our equipment, so you can feel confident in classes that you are performing exercises correctly.
Pregnancy Strength Pregnancy is a time where a magnitude of changes are occurring in your body, cardiovascular, hormonal and musculoskeletal. Our Pregnancy Strength class is tailored for each trimester; to help maintain fitness throughout your pregnancy, manage aches and pains, keep optimal baby positioning and keep you strong for when baby arrives. Running in a circuit, similar to a F45 workout, with all exercises suitable for pregnancy & strength as a mum to be.
Mums & Bub's Strength Strength is so important for Mums keeping up with their every growing little ones! This class will teach you how to safely lift, with focus on strength movements like squats, deadlifts and upper body strength, whilst protecting your pelvic floor. Baby & children friendly, these classes are suitable for women with children aged 16 weeks - 18 months.

Osteo Strength Osteoporosis strength is for women who have been diagnosed with osteopenia, osteoporosis, early onset menopause or are proactive in avoiding losing bone mineral density. Class runs for 45mins, and alternates between upper and lower body focus, with lifting techniques and core stability. Get strong, safely!
Golden Girls 65+ These classes are suitable for women over the age of 65, who are new to exercise. Come and learn how to use exercise as medicine, and meet others. Classes involve chair based exercises, reformer pilates & falls prevention work. Suitable for beginners & those who have chronic disease, injury or pain.
General Strength & Reformer Our Strength & Reformer Pilates classes are a great workout, with a focus on strength, conditioning and core activation! These classes are fast paced & challenging, a great progression for those who have finished rehabilitation but want to keep moving - or those who want to add Pilates in as an adjunct therapy whilst completing Exercise Physiology appointments.
