Telehealth just means health services - delivered online! We use an application called PhysiApp & Skype to be able to chat with you, just like in a normal consultation, and with a platform to be able to prescribe exercises, perform objective tests & develop a comprehensive plan to keep you progressing.
We believe specialised women's health exercise physiology, nutrition & physiotherapy care should be accessible to all during these times of COVID-19, which is why we’re proud to offer Telehealth to both our existing clients, to new clients who may be choosing to self isolate, and to the wider communities of Australia!
Our Telehealth consultations will deliver the same brilliant level of care as our in-clinic service offerings, where our allied health team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists & clinical nutritionists can develop a tailored treatment plan to keep you moving & support your rehabilitation.
What to expect from your initial Telehealth appointment?
At your first appointment our allied health team will review your medical history and ask you some questions about your pain, the nature of your symptoms and have you perform some movements (physiotherapy & exercise physiology) on screen for us to see how your body moves.
At the end of the consultation we will come up with an individualised treatment plan that will include a home program (supported by Physitrack), recommendation of exercise classes and review appointments to support you to keep progressing at home!
Can I claim Telehealth appointments on private health or medicare?
Yes - you are able to claim Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology appointments via Medicare & they are also eligible for Private Health Rebates.
How do I pay for Telehealth appointments?
