RETURNING TO EXERCISE AFTER BIRTH
1 in 3 women will have issues such as incontinence (leaking of urine), abdominal separation, postnatal depression or prolapse after birth.
We use exercise as medicine to help rehabilitation and recovery from all of these conditions.
Working with an AEP can help transition you back to exercise safely after birth, and help you return to a full gym program, sport or whatever your activity goal!
Our consultations include:
- exercises for your pelvic floor
- checking of your abdominal seperation (also known as Diastasis Recti or DRAM)
- home exercise program
- running analysis
Pear Exercise Physiology has a creche available 8.30-11.30am weekdays, and babes in prams are always welcome.
We aim to make you feel comfortable and supported in a women's only gym environment.
