Your body goes through a lot of changes over the course of your pregnancy. You must take care of it in the transition back to a full gym program! We specialise in helping make #fitmums!
RETURNING TO EXERCISE AFTER BIRTH
1 in 3 women will have issues such as incontinence (leaking of urine), abdominal separation, postnatal depression or prolapse after birth.
We use exercise as medicine to help rehabilitation and recovery from all of these conditions.
Working with an AEP can help transition you back to exercise safely after birth, and help you return to a full gym program.
Our consultations include:
- exercises for your pelvic floor
- checking of your abdominal seperation (also known as Diastasis Recti or DRAM)
- home exercise program
