Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Our multidisciplinary studio is looking for a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our female centric team. Starting part-time with 1-2 days per week, the role offers flexible hours and the potential to expand to full time in November 2020 for a maternity leave cover.

Pear Exercise Physiology is a multidisciplinary women’s health studio offering exercise physiology, remedial massage, reformer pilates, clinical nutrition and pelvic healthy physiotherapy to support women through all stages of life. We are passionate about women’s health and specialise in:
Pelvic floor dysfunctions including bladder, bowel, prolapse, pain and sexual health concerns
Pregnancy, birth and postnatal
Breast, bowel and gynaecological cancers
Chronic pain management including Endometrosis.
Rehabilitation pre and post surgery/injury
Injury prevention and chronic complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Chronic disease management including Diabetes, Heart Disease, Neuromuscular, Osteoporosis and falls prevention.
We are leading experts in our field and aim to break down the barriers of taboo and stigma in women’s health, by helping all women to use exercise as medicine and to prioritise self-care in all stages of life.
Located in Chermside West, we are a children and baby friendly studio, so you must have a blue card and be comfortable working around mothers and children. About You Essential
Relevant experience and tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy.
Registration with AHPRA.
Postgraduate training in women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy (WHTA/APA preferred).
The ability to assess return-to-exercise readiness including GH+PB and levator ani avulsion.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Current Blue Card.
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurances.
Ability to multi-task with excellent communication skills.
Passionate about women’s health.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in pessary fitting.
Experience in Oncology and/or Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation.
Equipment / Reformer Pilates training
A willingness to attend CPD and learn more in these areas supported by our Pear team.
