Lower Back Pain & Exercise
Lower back pain is very common, 80% of Australian adults will experience at least one episode of low back pain during their lifetime. Exercise is an integral part of your treatment, and management of lower back pain.
EXERCISE AND ACTIVE THERAPY IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF RECOVERY FROM LOWER BACK PAIN.
At Pear Exercise Physiology, we use a combination of education, kinesiology taping, mindfulness, stretching & strengthening exercises to help reduce and better manage your Lower Back Pain.
Pain can cause you to stop, slow down and avoid movement, and our aims are to restore your movement, educate you about the pain pathway, support the musculature around your back and core, and help to better manage your pain flare ups.
We work with diagnoses like
- facet joint sprains
- disc injuries (disc herniation, degeneration)
- non specific lower back pain
- nerve damage (sciatic, pudendal)
